SRH complete 48-run win
SRH complete 48-run win
A thoroughly dominating performance from the champions. They make amends for their defeat in Kolkata by hadning KKR a 48-run hammering. It was always going to be difficult once Warner's ton propelled SRH to 209. But KKR had hope till Uthappa was around. The in-form KKR batsman powered a 28-ball 53 but once he was gone after a 78-run third wicket stand with Manish Pandey, the writing was pretty much on the well.
SRH will be proud of their bowling effort. Bhuvneshwar, Kaul and Siraj picked up two wickets apiece. They go up to 13 points (still third on the table) behind KKR and MI, who have 14 points each. KKR's good NRR keeps them on top.
That's it from the blog. Thanks for tuning in. tomorrow is another double header. We'll be up nice and early. Until then, good night and take care.
Scratchy Yusuf falls; SRH in complete control now
It's over now surely. The required run rate has soared past 20. Yusuf's innings was going nowhere and Rashid Khan puts him out of his misery. Sheldon Jackson then falls to Bhuvneshwar.
. Uthappa falls after rapid half-century
Is that the game for SRH. Siraj gets the big fish. Uthappa has to hit almost every ball. Reaches out to a wide one and slaps it straight down long off's throat. Warner lets out a roar after the catch. He knows the importance of that. 28-ball 53 for Robin. Pity, KKR needed more from him this time.
Pandey falls but Uthappa powers to fifth 50 of season
KKR are in it as long Uthappa is around. He's hitting them cleanly and he's hitting them big. Gets to the fifth half-century of IPL 2017 after striking Moises Henriques for a couple of massive sixes over cow corner.
His 78-run sthird wicket stand however came to an end in an earlier over when Manish Pandey chipped Bhuvneshwar Kumar straight back for a caught and bowled chance.

Build Up: A mouth-watering clash
So, the IPL 10 caravan moves from Mohali to Hyderabad even as the action switches from the bottom of the table to the top - where all the action is. It's the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad - on a four-game unbeaten streak at home - who host the current table-toppers and two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRH have a score to settle. They felt aggrieved by some decisions in the reverse fixture and will want to get back at their high-flying opponents. KKR on the other hand have only gone from strength to strength and have all but sealed a spot in the playoffs.
This should be a cracker. Strap yourselves in... Toss and Teams to follow...
